How many people will be there?

We need 12 people to sign up to join hosts Laura and Mary for an intimate group of 14 people.

What is the goal of the retreat?

The Event Pros on the Go Retreat is designed as a boutique experience for professionals in the events, tourism and hospitality industry. Each year the format and focus changes. For example, 2023 was a Town & Country retreat focusing on education and venues.

What is included with my ticket?

4 nights on the Scarlet Lady, a welcome lunch in Miami, a brunch and activity in Key West, Cabana access in Bimini, goodies, transportation to and from the cruise port in Miami, a virtual kick off party, some surprises and a curated program to make this the Best. Retreat. Ever.

Will we be doing anything off the boat?

Yes. The itinerary on the boat has us leaving Miami at 6PM on January 10th, a day in Key West on the 11th (a lot of time to explore on your own) and a day in Bimini beach club on the 12th.

What if I have allergies or dietary restrictions?

Once you register, we will send you an intake form where there is a place to put your dietary restrictions and other information.

Do I get my own room?

The shared room option is available for $1998 and includes a shared room (with 1 person) with a sea view on the Scarlet Lady. We will pair you with an event pro based on your intake form where we ask about your usual bedtime, drinking habits, level of neat freak, and more. The private room option is also available for $2498. You can indicate which option you prefer in your registration form. 

When is the last day to register for the retreat?

Registration is open until September 4, 2023 (you're in events, you get that we need a head count), however, there are only 12 spots which may be booked beforehand.

Are tickets refundable? What about transferrable?

We are unable to refund any ticket purchases for any reason. That said, you can absolutely transfer your ticket to someone else! Just them the details and email us at to let us know who is coming :)

What do I need to bring?

We will send a packing list via email before the retreat. That said, think "chic seaside vibes". Remember, this retreat is all about stepping into a new event pro energy so we want you to feel comfortable AND fabulous!

What kinds of food and beverages will there be?

Virgin Voyages doesn't do traditional cruise dining like other cruise lines. No main dining halls with buffets here. Instead, there are more than 20 specialty dining restaurants for all dietary needs and preferences.

Will you host the retreat again?

The retreat changes location and focus every year! Our suggestion? Come this time!

Do you have a payment plan?

Yes! We require a $600 deposit by September 4, 2023 to secure your spot followed by the final balance on September 26, 2023. 

Are there discounts?

Sign up with a friend and get $100 discount each! Just let us know in the registration form.

No scholarship rates are offered this year because of the lower rate of this year's trip compared to past retreats - we're trying to make the current price inclusive for all! So if you've been debating about attending the retreat, THIS is your year to go given the lower-cost nature of the cruise compared to past itineraries.
